Different customers, different disciplines.
The machines are the same. What changes is the documentation, the scheduling and what counts as a failure. Pretending otherwise is how shops disappoint an automotive customer and over-serve a prototype one.

Before you ask us.
The things buyers ask on the first call, answered here so the call can be about your part.
What is the smallest order you take?
One piece. Prototype and first-article work is how most of our production programmes started, and we would rather quote the first one than be introduced at volume.
Can you work from a sample rather than a drawing?
Yes. We reverse engineer from the part, produce a drawing for you to approve, and that drawing becomes the record for every repeat order.
Do you hold stock for release?
On scheduled programmes, yes. The terms are set in the contract review rather than assumed.
What documentation comes with a shipment?
Whatever the contract calls for: dimensional report, material certification, cure and process records. Traceability is retained for seven years either way.
How do you handle a non-conformance?
It is quarantined and you are told the same day, with the quantity affected and whether anything has already shipped. We do not rework without your authorisation.
Not sure we are the right shop?
Tell us the part, the volume and the date. A straight answer costs you one email and saves you a sourcing cycle.
